Petrol price hike in India: Petrol, aviation fuel prices to be hiked from midnight

Petrol Price Hiked in India Once Again
The Public Sector Oil Companies once again, doing damage to the common people by hiking the petrol price. The petrol price has been increased to INR 2.50 and INR 2.54 for a liter. Indian Oil Corporation hiked Rs. 2.50, Hindusthan Petrolium rised to 2.54 and Bharath Petrolium hiked the price to Rs.2.53 per liter. This price hike will come to the scene after the midnight of 15th January 2011. This is the second time with in few days, the petrol company is hiking the price. The companies has raised the price to 2.94 to 2.96 in last December 2010 and it is only January that we are experiencing such a price boom.Petrol prices, starting from midnight today will be INR 2.50 to INR 2.50 dearer across India. The Oil Companies of India are pointing out the reason that, the price hike in petrol in India occurred due to the hike of the crude oil price to 92 dollars in the International market. The petrol price for the month of December 2010 in the International market was 88-90 dollars and two dollars hike was reported during January months of 2011.Now the petrol price for one liter become almost INR 63-64 in the markets. But this astonishing price hike in petrol will surely be a concern for the common man who cant afford such a huge price rise.
