Republic Day 2011 Celebrations, Indian Republic Day Programmes
Indian Republic Day Celebrations 2011 involve the splendid shows by Indian defenses. The tableus showcasing rich culture, glorious history and heritage is worth to watch.
• The Prime Minister of India (Mr. Manmohan Singh) will lay floral wreath at Amar Jawan Jyothi to honor and pray for the heroes who had let scarified in building up the great country. After a 2 minutes silent prayer, the President will join the Chief Guest of the Republic Day celebration. India Republic Day 2011 Chief Guest is Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. The President will host the flying tricolor flag of India and the National Anthem-"Jana Gana Mana.." will be played. This will be accompanied by 21 gunshots.
• Parade and Shows by Indian Defense
The 62nd Republic Day celebration of India will show the country's power to the world. The military department of India will exhibit Republic Day parade on January 26. The Republic day parade will showcase country's various achievements in defense technology. Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) is the latest innovation from Indian defense department which has made its successful debut recently. 
Trainer version of LCA and BrahMos cruise missile will be displayed in the parade on a tableau. Brahmos missile has a speed of three times greater than sound.
Indian Air Force (AIF) will show the 25 aircraft flying parade. Sukhois, Jaguars and MiG-29s will also be shown to the people of India.
Motor Cycle Parade by Border Security Force (BSF)-"Jaanbaz" adds thrill to the great celebration.

•Apart from these celebrations various awards are given in this auspicious day. The awards to be given on Republic Day 2011 celebrations include National Bravery Award etc.
