"Castrol Cricketer of the Year" Award Announced
Sachin Tendulkar was named as the Castrol cricketer of the year for hi exemplary performance in the last year which also includes a double century, the first ever double century in the history of One Day International Cricket.

Sachin Tendulkar has got one more Feather to his cap. He was awarded with the Castrol Indian Cricketer of the Year 2010 at the Castrol awards for cricketing excellence – 2010. This added up one more glory for him to his unforgettable cricketing year 2010. Earlier in 2010, he had scored the first ever double century in the history of One Day International Cricket. On the same occasion was also awarded the Indian Test Cricketer of the Year and also Felicitated for his unremarkable double century against South Africa and for completing 50 centuries in international Test Career. As of now he has scored 51 centuries in International Test Career and 46 Centuries in One Day International Cricket Career. All Indian Cricket fans are expecting the same performance from him in the coming ICC world cup, which is going to be held in India, Srilanka and Bangladesh.
Indian captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni was awarded with the ODI Cricketer of the Year. This was given for his excellence in ODI cricket and for his records as the Captain of Indian ODI Cricket Team. He has shown his ability and management skills as the team leader in the cricket series held in 2009 and 2010. Indian Cricket team is currently standing first in the Test Cricket according to the ICC rankings. Virender Sehwag was awarded the Batsman of the Year while Harbhajan Singh was awarded as the Bowler of the Year. Rahul Dravid was felicitated for the highest number of catches in Test matches for India Test Cricket in the special achievement category. Yusuf Pathan was declared as the 'Impact Cricketer' while Jaydev Unadket was named as the Junior Cricketer of the Year.
