Kerala PSC HSST and VHSE Teacher Post

Kerala PSC had invited application to the posts of Higher Secondary School Teacher and Vocational Higher Secondary School Teacher recently. In both the posts senior and junior vacancies are reported. Like all the posts , this application has to be filed by online only. The application is available here.



While filing the online application to these four posts caution is to be taken. Kerala PSC had introduced an option method for first time while filing the online application form. According to this method, while filing the online application to Higher Secondary School Teacher and Vocational Higher Secondary School Teacher post an option also is to be given. That is our order of priority of post is to be given.

So while filing the Kerala PSC application form for Higher Secondary School Teacher and Vocational Higher Secondary School Teacher post, it is better to give first priority for senior posts. That is let the available posts are –

(1) Higher Secondary School Teacher Senior
(2) Higher Secondary School Teacher Junior
(3) Vocational Higher Secondary School Teacher Senior and
(4) Vocational Higher Secondary School Teacher Junior.

So your option for the Higher Secondary School Teacher and Vocational Higher Secondary School Teacher post should be as follows.

(1) Higher Secondary School Teacher Senior
(2) Vocational Higher Secondary School Teacher Senior
(3) Higher Secondary School Teacher Junior and
(4) Vocational Higher Secondary School Teacher Junior.

What is the advantage of this option giving? The advantage is here. Let one is included in all the four Kerala PSC lists above, but some what back in position. He / she will be first considered to the lowest option. When vacancy comes Kerala PSC will advice him to higher options. But if one get posting at the first opted post he / she will not be considered to the lowest posts. In other words , if one get posting in higher option , all the other option below it will be cancelled automatically. So the most wanted post of your choice should be the first option.

So I advice all the Kerala PSC HSST / VHSE Teacher aspirants to be very careful while filing the online application form. Most of the Kerala PSC tests to higher posts like this are coming once in a blue moon. A careless filing of online application form may hunt you for ever.
