Makeup Man Malayalam Movie Review- A Complete Entertainment Movie from Shafi-Jayaram team
Makeup Man story, reviews are given in this post. The movie is definitely going to be a super hit film of 2011. The film has everything to enjoy. Shafi has managed to say the story in both comedy and sentimental background, making the audience comfortable.
Makeup Man- A Complete Entertainment Movie from Shafi-Jayaram team
Makeup man has done his job. Everything is perfect- this is what one can say about the new release of Shafi- Jayaram team Malayalam film 'Make up Man'. Makeup Man is a complete entertainment film. Although the trailer of the film has Mohanlal giving award to Jayaram, it's not seen in the real reel of the film. But, Prithviraj and Kunchako Boban is there in the film as themselves. Shafi has got his second successive hit this year after Merikkundoru Kundadu. Every artists have contributed best for the film, especially the screenplay by Sachu- Sethu and the heroine Sheela. Suraj Venjaramud has been active throughout the film in his usual comedy role, making us laugh. Mohanlal is not in the film, eventhough he is there in the trailer giving award to the best Makeup Man. 
Story of Makeup Man
Makeup man is the story of newly wedded couples- Balu(Jayaram) and Soorya(Sheela). Balu is a simple man with lot of debts over his head. His dream and busiess together fell down and he gets a new weight over his shoulder in the form of Soorya. Soorya and Balu were friends (or lovers) for the last five years and Soorya get rid off her home on the night of her marriage. Balu have to accept her and their marriage takes place without much disturbances in the presence of Kichu(Suraj). Kichu is a Production Controller. Suraj gives them the shelter to stay on their first night. The room was previously occuppied by the heroine of the movie. But she was kicked out by Director(Siddique). From here onwards twists come in the movie. Director and Producer (Janardhanan) mistake Soorya as the new heroine of the movie. Unfortunately she acts well in the selection trail. Soorya changes her name to Anamika on request of Director. Balu has to be the makeup man of Soorya in order to stay in touch with her. Balu lives in a lodge and Anamika in the fivestar hotels.
Anamika becomes a famous heroine and her fans and well wishers increase suddenly. Balu and Anamika have to hide the truth that they were married. But, later in the movie-just before the climax, Anamika says that Balu is not her husband.
The rest is the real story of twists and comedy. Just watch the film, its really awesome!!
Verdict of Makeup Man
Makeup man is going to be a megahit film of 2011. The film has everything- nice comedy, good story and script, wonderful narration,nice songs, best star cast with twists and a good climax. What you want other than this?
Both first half and second half are equally good. First half moves completely in a comedy background, while the second half becomes little more serious without loosing the comedy thread.
Sheela also excelled in her role. Her talent shows a wide carrier is waiting for her in Mollywood.
Jagathis is also coming at the end of the movie as an advocate and he too deserves something for the massive hit of Makeup Man. Suraj steals the show at the end with his stuper comedy. Jayaram is as usual in the film with his own mannerisms, but nothing negetive to say.
Rating: 8/10
Shafi has managed to give another wonderful gift in 2011. Just enjoy it in nearby theaters.
