Grammy awards announced

Grammy awards,known as the Oscar in the musical world,have announced here at Los angels on Sunday.The song 'Need you now' won the award for the best song and the best pop female singer award was bagged by Lady Gaga.The best solo song award was received by the song 'Not afraid' by the singer Eminem.The best song 'Need you now' was composed by Dave Heywood,Josh ker,Charles Kelly,Hillary Scott and Lady Antebellam.

The song 'The fame monster' for which Lady Gaga bagged the prize, also won the award of the 'Best pop video album'.Bruno Mars, who sung the song 'Just the way you are' selected as the 'Best male pop singer'.He has to also compete with the album of Pop God Michel Jackson 'This is it'.Colombia Records also got a prize for 'Hey,sole sister' in their album 'Train'

'Imagine',the song in the album 'The imagine project' won the Grammy in the Pop vocal collaboration section and the best dance performance was by Rihana's Only girl(In the world).The best rock album of the year is 'The Resistance'.It's very sad that the two Indians in the competition Chandrika Krishnamoorthy and Indian Piano maestro Vijay Ayyar couldn't open their account.
