Attukal Pongala Festival Programs and Schedule
Attukal Pongala is celebrated at the Attukal Bhagavathi Temple in Thiruvananthapuram. The festival is dedicated to Atukal Devi. The Attunkal Pongala of 2011 will be held on 19th February. The Pongala festival celebration consists of 2 million women offer Pongala (boiled rice) to the Goddess Parvati, known as Attukalamma. Women have to cook Pongala in the temple premises and offer to the Goddess with utmost fervor. This is the largest event of it's kind.

Morning :10.00 am to 12.00 PM
