Urumi has got lots of specialities in terms of it's casting, crew, budget etc. The epic movie is going to be the second highest budget movie to be released in Mollywood after Pazhashiraja. According to the latest reports, the budget of Urum has crossed Rs. 27 Crores. The most thrilling speciality of the movie is it's release in three languages- English, Malayalam and Tamil. Story of Urumi
The epic story is set in the background of sixteenth century when Vasco da Gama visited India. It's the story of Chirakkal Kelu Nayanar (Prithviraj) and his crew for an epic mission- to kill Vasco da Gama, Viceroy of Portuguese Empire in India. The story of movie is spread between the second and third visit of Vasco da Gama in India. Kelu has a good support from Ayesha (Genelia) of the famed Arackal Sultana and Vavvali (Prabhudeva)- his childhood friend.
They say the climax of Urumi is superb with 150 stuntmen, over 100 horses, more than 1000 extras, multiple cameras and explosives. The movie tells how Gama could had met a blood death in AD 1524. The latest reports and the official website of Urumi says that it will be a good film to watch the old golden epic story of the team who wanted to kill Gama.
