Pakistan won their second match in theICC World Cup after winning against Srilanka in the Group A match held at Colombo. Pakistani Captain Shahid Afridi won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored a total of 277 runs from 50 overs. Misbah Ul Haq top scored for Pakistan. He scored a astonishing 83 of 91 balls. Younis Khan scored 72 of 76 balls and made a good partnership with Misbah. for Srilanka, Perara and Herath took 2 wickets each. Muralitharan again failed to impress his fans.
