British Actor Colin Firth the son of academic lecturers born on September 10, 1969 in Grayshott, Hampshire, England. His father is a history lecturer at King Alfred's College Winchester and his mother is also a lecturer at the same college. Colin Firth did his schooling at King's School in Winchester and had his college at Barton Peveril College in Hamshire. He took his stage for acting at the Drama Centre London. He took his first role as Bennet in 'Another Country' a West End Productions. After this he played as Robert Lawrence in a TV Production 'Tumbledown'(1988). He has got Royal Television Society Best Actor Award and also got BAFTA nomination for 'The Pride and Prejudice' (1995) a TV version where he took the role of "Mr.Darcy".
