AB de Villiers Wrapped the match with his second ton
The 231 runs victory of South Africa against Netherlands in the ICC World cup match saw the stunning innings from two batsmen of Proteas- AB and Amla. Both the players scored a ton against the associate team. AB's second ton is almost similar to his first one with sparking sixes and fours. He scored 134 runs from 98 balls. The batsman hit 4 balls to sixes and 13 fours. The third wicket partnership between AB and Amla is one of the highlight of the match. They scored 221 runs.
Netherlands bowlers were in a good condition before the coming of AB de Villiers. They were 58/2 in 15.3 overs. But when AB came into action, the whole game changed. He was able to make the audience utter with his sparking innings. At the end of the first innings, J P Duminy continued the action of AB. He scored 40 runs from just 15 balls with a strike rate of more than 200.
Netherlands were bowled out for 120 runs in 34.5 overs. Imran Tahir once again probed his spin excellence by taking 3 wickets with an economy of 2.78. Kallis got two wickets.
