Now, it is affiliated with the University of Calcutta.It offers graduate and under graduate programmes in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer science and quantitative economics.

Eligibility: Ph.D degree in the relevant subject
age: Maximum 32 years
assistant professor
Eligibility: Ph.d degree with minimum 3 years of post doctoral research experience
age: Maximum 35 years
Associate Professors and Professors
Eligibility: Ph.D degree with 6 years of experience.
age: Maximum 45 years
Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science , Economics, Econometrics- Kolkata,Bangalore and Delhi
Physics, Applied Mathematics, Geology, Social sciences, Biological Science - Only Kolkata.Pay scale
Visiting scientists : Rs. 30000 – 40000/- per month
Assistant Professors : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP of Rs. 8000/-
Associate Professors : Rs. 37400 – 67000/- with GP of Rs. 9500/-
