One of the most expected film of the year King vs Commissioner in which Mammootty and Suresh Gopi coming together after a long gap is now dropped. Director Shaji Kailas tried his best to bring Mammootty and Suresh Gopi together in his King Versus Commissioner. The film seems to be an anticipating project since the movie will have Mammootty as Thevalliparambil Joseph Alex IAS, the dynamic District Collector from the movie The King and Suresh Gopi as Bharathchandran IPS from the film Commissioner. But the director failed to convince both of them as there were some ego issues exists between them. Earlier, the project announced as Mammooty and Prithviraj in lead roles. The latest news is that Shaji Kailas started working on another project with screen play writer Ranji Panicker in which Mammootty will be appearing as Thevalliparambil Joseph Alex IAS.
