A classical batsman with incredible bating style and excellent skill in off-side cutting. It is very tough for a bowler to quit him out of the crease. He is well famous for his off-side cutting and best control over the ball. He is very best for innings, because of his stability on the crease. Even though he is slow in running between the wickets , the ability to stand in crease for long time makes him suitable in test cricket. He has a wonderful ability to hit the same ball on either side. Australians have suffered most of his resistance power, and they did concede they did not know how to bowl towards him, in Australia's Indian tour 2003-04, which is the final word of compliment. We are full of reminiscence of his greatest score of 281 in test against Australia.Ravindra Jadeja
