Earthquake in Delhi Today 4th April 2011

As per early reports an earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale which has an epicenter in the India-Nepal border region shook different parts of north India, including capital Delhi and its suburbs. Reports from Noida and parts of Delhi says that the earth quake was strong enough to shook furniture in office buildings.


Mild tremors of earthquake were experienced in Delhi around 5:04 pm in the evening. There had been a panic among the people was most of the service class was leaving to home after the regular jobs.The quake lasted for just only a couple of seconds, but was enough to spread panic as people started moving out of the buildings to the safer place. The magnitude of the jolts on the richter scale is conformed as 6.0 on richter schale.But how far there is no report of any human loss or damage to property.
