IPL Teams 2011 Players List

Fourth Edition of IPL will Kick start on 8th April 2011, with two new entrants, Sahara Pune Warriors and Kochi Tuskers Kerala. After the historical world cup victory of India, all cricket lovers are looking forward to cheer for their favorite IPL team. Let us have a look at all the teams and their strengths.

1. Chennai Super Kings:

Definitely MS Dhoni leading side will be confident enough under Dhoni who lead the Indian team to a historical world cup win. Though they missed the great M.Muralidharan they have match winners like M S Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Suraj Randiv, Michael Hussey. They have a got one of the formidable batting line up for this year's IPL.

Players : M S Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Murali Vijay, Albie Morkel (all retained), Wriddhiman Saha, R Ashwin, S Badrinath, Joginder sharma, Sudeep Tyagi, Michael Hussey, Dwayne Bravo, Doug Bollinger, scott Styris, Ben Hilfenhaus, Nuwan Kulasekara, Suraj Randiv, George Bailey and Francois Du Plessis.

2. Delhi Daredevils:

Though Delhi Missed Gambhir this time, the big hitters Shewag and warner will be their key players. Batting side looks promising as compared to the bowling.

Players: Virender Sehwag (retained), Irfan Pathan, Naman Ojha, Ajit Agarkar, Ashok Dinda, Umesh Yadav, Venugopal Rao, David Warner, James Hopes, Morne Morke l, Aaron Finch, Matthew Wade, Roelof van der Merve, Andrew McDonand, Travis Birt, Colin Ingram and Robert Frylinck.

3. Deccan Chargers:

Deccan chargers looking forward to get the game going under their new captian Kumar Sangakkara. Dale Steyn leading bowling attack will be the key for Chargers.

Players: Shikhar Dhawan, Ishant sharma, Pragyan Ojha, Amit Mishra, Manpreet Gony, Kevin Pietersen, Cameron White, Kumar Sangakkara, JP Duminy, Dale Steyn, Daniel Christian, Chris Lynn, Juan Theron and Michael Lumb.

4. Royal Challengers Bangalore:

Challengers made some tough calling by leaving out their classic player like Rahul Dravid. However they are looking promising by getting some really talented youngsters. Zaheer leading bowling attack will be the key for Chalengers compared to their batting lineup. Hope that their young batting line up will really fire.

5. Mumbai Indians:

The great Sachin Tendulakr leading side have got some of the great players like Harbhajan Singh, Kieron Pollard, Lasith Malinga, Rohit Sharma, Andrew Symonds. ALl are match winners on their day.

Players: Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh, Kieron Pollard, Lasith Malinga (all retained), Rohit Sharma, Munaf Patel, Andrew Symonds, David Jacobs, James Franklin, Clint McKay, Moises Henriques and Aiden Bllzzard.

6. King XI Punjab:

Under new captain, Gilchrist Kings are looking a fresh side. Definitely a balanced side.

Players: Dinesh Karthik, Abhishek Nayar, Praveen Kumar, Piyush Chawla, Adam Gilchrist, Shaun Marsh, David Hussey, Stuart Broad, Ryan Harris, Dimitri Mascarenhas and Nathan Rimmington.

7. Kolkata Knight Riders:

We can call Knight riders as the favorites of this years title. They have got a dream team. Almost all are match winners. Let's see how other team will play against them.

Players: Gautam Gambhir, Yusuf Pathan, Manoj Tiwari, L Balaji, Jaidev Unadkat, Jacques Kallis, Brad Haddin, Shakib Al Hasasn, Brett Lee, Eoin Morgan, Ryan ten Doeschate and James Pattinson

8. Sahara Pune Warriors:

One of the new entrant to IPL family. They have got a balanced team under Yuvraj. Let's see how they will perform in their first IPL season.

Players: Yuvraj Singh, Robin Uthappa, Ashish Nehra, Murali Kartik, Graeme Smith, Tim Paine, Agelo Mathews, Nathan McCullum, Callum Ferguson, Wayne Parnell, Mitchell Marsh, Jerome Taylor, Alfonson Thomas and Jesse Ryder.

9. Kochi Tuskers Kerala

After all their initial problems, under one of the most successful T20 player M.Jayawardene, Tuskers are looking forward to their maiden IPL season. Got a promising bowling attack however they are missing some hard hitters. Hope that combination of experienced and youngsters will do wonders for tuskers.

10. Rajasthan Royals:

Under the legend Shane warne, Royals are look like a balanced team trhough their pace bowling should have been better.

Players: Shane Warne, Shane Watson (both retained), Rahul Dravid, Pankaj Singh, Ross Taylor, Johan Botha, Paul Collingwood, Shaun Tait, Ashok Menaria, Aakash Chopra, Dishant Yagnik, Samad Fallah.
