Mattanchery Palace is one among the most widely visited tourist places in Kerala coming under the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Palace also beholds two more temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva on its either sides. Today, Mattanchery Palace is a centrally protected monument and preserved by Archaeological Survey of India. Royal umbrellas, ivory palanquin and ceremonial dresses used by royalty are other attractions seen inside Mattanchery Palace.
