A test Electronic toilet has been installed in Oytty road in calicut to get the feedback and suggestion from the society. Calicut Corporation have now decided to install fifteen more such toilet's after the successful installation and operation of 'Test Toilet' installed in the city. 
Three of them will be installed in Cheruvannur nallalam, Beypore and Elathur Grama panchayath - recently added places under co-orperation. Six of them will be for Ladies. Installation have already started in pavangad junction, Calicut Beach ( near light house ) , Mathottam , cheruvannur, karaparamba and near calicut police station. 1. Insert a one rupee coin to enter.
2. Cleanliness will be maintained automatically after every use.
3. Operation of flush and floor cleaning will be also automatic.
4. Operation with optimum water consumption is maintained. ( cleaning would done in a maximum of four liters of water per head. )
