Kerala Assembly elections 2011 Kozhikode south constituency

Musafir ahamed of LDF , M K Muneer of Muslim league and Jaya Sadanandan of BJP were the strong contenders in Kozhikode South constituency for Kerala Assembly election 2011. As Kerala Assembly election 2011 results are just hours away from now political experts are predicting a'slight margin' victory here.Chances for both Musafir ahamed of LDF and M K Muneer of Muslim league are quite even.
United democratic party poll survey have predicted a victory for Dr M K Muneer in Kozhikode south. 'Nalla naleyude nalla kozhikottukaran' (Clean leader of Kozhikode for it's prosperous future) was the tag used by Muneer for Kerala Assembly election 2011 campaigns and promotions. It is quite clear that UDF have tried to secular imge of muneer to ensure their victory in the constituency.
Mean while Musafir ahammed of CPIM had attracted the common people by his various development activities for Kozhikode .Left Democratic Front believes that Dr muneer have lost the plot by his controversial comments over certain issues very recently.
BJP candidate Jaya Sadanathan made the competition very tight here. Eventhough BJP is almost out of the picture number of votes won by Jaya Sadanathan will decide the margin between Musafir ahamed and M K Muneer. It is quite interesting to see how many votes do dupliate Musaffar Ahmmed and Muneer get here to make the situation even worse.
