Petroleum price in the country has gone up once again in the country, this time petrol price is hiked by Rs5. This is the 9 the time in 8 moths the petroleum price is hiked, the petroleum price in the country has gone up by RS 20 from 47.21 in 2010 to 67.12 now.Another hike in petrol price will be soon implemented, currently the price of Petrol in Kerala will go up by Rs 6.50 Diesel and LPG price will go up soon

Petrol price in the country has once again hiked, this time the petrol price is hiked by 5 rupees for a litre, now the approx price of Petrol have 
gone up to 67.14 in the major cities of the country. Its eighth time the petrol price is hiked in 15 months of time after the UPA II has come in to power, in this time the price has gone up Rs 20. Indian oil, Hindustan petroleum, and Bharath petroleum hike the price 4.99, 5.01,5.03 respectively . In capital city Delhi petrol price has gone up to 58.23
This is as if the government UPA was just waiting the Assembly elections in 5 states to get over for the price hike, the official confirmation of the petrol price will be announced by the Petroleum minister by midnight, the new price will come in to act by 12 mid night of 14 th may.
UPA govt which announce action plans to prevent price rise in the country will have to look for alternative, the prices of Essential commodities will go up in across the country due to the hike in fuel price. Price hike on the Diesel is not yet decided, it seems that the loss in Diesel is added to the price to compensate, but soon the price of diesel is expected to go up by Rs2 and LPG by Rs 20
Earlier when price of petrol price was hikes congress replied that it was for the corporate to compensate the money they lost during recession and the same govt brought the Deregulation in to act, giving full power to Oil companies to decide the price of Petroleum the basis of Market price, but the price was gone up by Rs 9 for petroleum products in the international market in last few months, but petroleum companies decided to hike price only after the elections are over, actually the price was expected to hike by Rs 10 such was the loss according to companies , but was fixed to Rs 5, further hike in the petrol price is expected in coming months according g to the annalists
