The Central Board of Secondary Education is a Board of Education for school level in India of Central Government. CBSE affiliates all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, all Kendriya Vidyalayas, private schools, all the schools in the NCT of Delhi and Foreign Schools. Over 1.6 million students appeared for the CBSE Class X and XII board examinations this year. CBSE results are normally declared by end May, though the board has not issued a formal date yet.
