Class 12 CBSE Results 2011 Declared


The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Senior Secondary Examination Boards, i.e, class 12 results 2011 on Monday, 23 May, 2011. Read on to know more about the state of results and how students can access their results through various means.

The Class 12 results under the CBSE board were declared today, Monday the 23rd, in the morning at 10 a.m. Though schools have put up the results in their respective schools, students who are enjoying their holidays can access their results through the internet as well.

Candidates can get access to their results by visiting either of these sites:
http://www.results.nic.in/ ,
http://www.cbseresults.nic.in/ and
http://www.cbse.nic.in .
They can also receive an e-mail by registering to any of the above mentioned sites.

With the advent of technology, results can also be accessed at your fingertips through the Interactive voice Response System (IVRS), of the National Informatics Centre at a meager 30 paise per minute on 24357270 for the local subscribers of Delhi and on 011-24357270 for subscribers residing in any other parts of the country. They can also access their results through the short message services (SMS) for 50 paise only.

This year saw a 9.2% increase in comparison to 2010, in the candidates registering for the exams. CBSE, will begin with its second phase counselling from Monday and will continue till June 6.It was found that the girls outshone the boys with a passpercentage pf 86.93 and 77.83 respectively. There was an increase in the overall pass percentage and stood at 81.71%.

Chennai bagged the first place with an overall passpercentage of 91.32%, followed by Ajmer with 85.5%, closely followed by Delhi with 85.45%.
