Reporter TV is a new Malayalam news channel which was launched on 11th May 2011. The unique feature of Reporter TV is that it is Kerala's first High Definition (HD) news channel. Reporter TV has been formulated under the leadership of M.V Nikesh Kumar who was the former CEO and Executive Editor of Indiavision new channel. Reporter TV is a 24 hours channel which is entirely dedicated for the coverage of news and current issues in Kerala. M.V Nikesh Kumar is the Managing director and Chief Editor of Reporter TV. The company's headquarters are based in Kochi district of Kerala. The channel became successful as soon as it was launched because of the timing of its opening which coincided with the results of the Kerala Elections 2011. Manorama News is a successful 24 hours Malayalam news channel which was launched by Malayala Manorama news group. The channel is also known as 'MM TV' and is based in Kochi district of Kerala.
