The university has given instructions related to the Eligibility for Application, Mode of Admission, Aptitude Test/ Interview,Registration for Research, Course Work and much more details about the process of admission. As per instructions given the website the following matters should be enclosed during the process of application for the PhD course.
• Original Pay-in Slip of Rs.525/-(Rupees Five hundred and twenty five only) towards Registration fee and cost of Application.
• An Attested copy of the T.C. From the institution last attended.
• The Original Pay-in Slip of Rs.525/-(Rupees Five hundred and twenty five only) towards Registration fee and cost of Application.
• An Attested copy of the T.C. From the institution last attended.
• Attested copies of Degree Certificates of P.G. And M.Phil should be submitted.
• Attested copy of the certificate in proof of having passed NET/SLET/GATE/JRF(UGC,CSIR,ICAR,ICMR/KSCSTE or other Govt bodies).
• Attested copy of Eligibility Certificate(in the case of those who have passed the qualifying degree from Universities/Bodies outside Kerala).
• Three copies of synopsis which is not less than 1000 words containing the title of the proposed work should be submitted.
• Certificate of general Aptitude Test conducted by the MG University.
As per the instructions the registration fee should be remitted to the Mahatma Gandhi University Fund through Pay-in Slip at the University Cash Counter or can be done through any of the centers of FRIENDS which is situated in all the districts of Kerala. Candidates have to remit the Fee by way of DD which is payable to the Finance Officer,Mahatma Gandhi University,P.D Hills,Kottayam-686560. The Fee once remitted will not be refunded or adjusted. To be noted is that late and defective applications will be rejected.
