After a short gap, the internet world is busy with reporting one of the exclusive news 'Nayanthara converted to hinduism'. Reports are flashing in most of the top online newspapers with this exclusive news. According to various sources, the actress born as a Christian has converted herself to hindu religion on sunday(August 7) morning at Arya Samaj Temple in Chennai. The original name of the actress was Diana Mariam Kurian but after entering the glamorous world of movies it was turned to Nayanthara, the name which is much popular among movie lovers.
It is said that, the actress flew from kochi on Sunday to reach the temple at Chennai and had gone through shuddhi karma, a typical hindu ritual made before the fire. After the completion of the purification ceremony the actress was issued a certificate of conversion to Hinduism. Later in the evening flight the actress rushed back to kochi. Being converted to Hinduism, she will be officially known by the name Nayanthara.
Its is reported that nayanthara's conversion to hindu religion is the stepping stone for her marriage with director turned actor prabdudeva which might be on to the end of this month.
