The first 3D movie of Indian film industry "My dear Kuttichathan" is coming back to give 3D effects to Malayalees. My Dear Kuttichathan was first released on 1984 in an Onam Season. Navodaya banner is coming back with the same project after 27 years. The first part of the movie has created many records and was shown in Dhanya theater in thiruvananthapuram for continuous six months. My
Dear Kuttichathan was also released on 1997 with little modification and had got a good response from people. My Dear Kuttichathan 3D will be produced by Navodaya Appachan under Navodaya banner. Movie will be directed by Jijo who is the son of Navodaya Appachan.

The story of the movie is same as that of the old movie My Dear Kuttichathan. The new My Dear Kuttichathan contains extra 30 minutes along with the old movie.
At the starting of the movie Kuttichathan was tied into an old building. Children who came for fun in the building releases Kuttichathan. Then the Kuttichathan starts friendship with these children and creates many funny moments. The film progress with the funny movements of Kuttichathan and children. Presence of Bollywood stars like Urmila and Prakash Raj will give a new face to the movie.
My Dear Kuttichathan 3D will be released across Kerala on August 30, 2011. In the first stage movie will be released in about 30 theaters across Kerala.
