The film starts with a statement that "we are living to eat food" and not "eating food for the living". The films presents `love and life' along with food in a fantastic manner. People of Kerala can proudly say that the film is a great film that depicts their life style. The film travels through different varieties of tastes. It has the right balance of humor and just because of that it never gets boring.

Good food is made by the right combination of ingredients. Script of the film is written by Syam Pushkarana and Dileep Nair. Ashik Abu crafted it to perfection with the talent of a director. This made the film a tasty film. It stands apart from other films by the way it is presented. The film released without great expectations. There is no super stars and the budget of the film is also very less. The story of the film is also not exceptional. It is a very normal story. But the script of the film is the real super star. Direction is the strength of the film.
