Mar Gregorios College Parumala situated at Valanjavattom near to Pulikeezh( few kilometers from Thiruvalla). The college had its Onam celebrations on 2nd September 2011. Dr. Alexander Karakal was the chief guest on this special occasion. Principal Prof. John Mathew presided over the meeting. After the inaugural function special onam programs were arranged. The celebration got to its height with the overall participation from the students and staffs of the college. Apart from Onam Pookalam Competition, a special program 'Mr and Miss PMG' caught the eyes of the spectators. Students of B.Com and Fashion Technology participated in this spectacular program. Different Onam Competitions really added colours to the Onam celebrations of the college. In the Onam Flower Decoration Contest Students of B.Com Second year won the first place. It was a thrilling day for all students to come in traditional kerala dresses which had made the day more spectacular. Few words about the college
Parumala Mar Gregorious College is situated at Valanjavattom, just few kilometers away from Thrivalla. The college has received the administrative sanction from the state government to be affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University. The college has three degree couses like B.Com with Computer Application, BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) and BFT (Bachelor of Fashion Technology). Headed by His Grace Dr. Yuhanon Mar Chrisostoms as the Chairman of the college, the administration of the college is handled by Fr. A. T. Geevarughese. Prof. E. John Mathew Koodarathil is the present Principal of the college.
