Ingredients of Wheat Payasam:-


Broken Wheat 2 cup

Jaggery - 1kg

Coconut - 2

Small cut coconut pieces - 1/4 cup

Ghee - 1 spoon

Cardamom powder - 1 spoon

Cashew nuts - 5gms

How to make: -

  • Take an "Uruli". Take water into the uruli and when water boils put wheat into it.

  • When the wheat cooks for few minutes put jaggery into it and stirs well.

  • When it becomes thickens add the second milk of Coconut and allow it to boil.

  • When the mixture becomes in paste form, mix first milk of coconut into it.

  • Now take the Uruli from stove.

  • Take a frying pan and put the coconut pieces and cashew nuts to fry, and then put cardamom powder into it.

  • Mix this with the wheat payasam and now it's ready to serve.
