Abdul Lathif 1st Prize Winner Kerala Onam Bumper 2011

After the declaration of the Kerala State Lottery Onam Bumper 2011 results, at Ponkunnam all were asking one question. Who is the lucky person who won the 1st prize worth Rs 5 crore?

All the excitement to know the winner is over and here comes Abdul Lathif(42), who is the luckiest person who holds the 1st prize winning ticket No. UV 425851 which won prize worth Rs 5 crore. Abdul Lathif a resident of Kollam who had been working in Shalimar hotel near to the Gram Panchayat Bus Stand in Etumanoor, Kottayam.

The winning ticket was purchased by SR Agencies from the Kottayam Lottery office. SR Agencies sold few tickets to the retail ticket selling agency Uthram lucky centre, Etumannor. Abdul Lathif bought a bunch of tickets (50) from Uthram agencies in which the winning lottery ticket No. UV 425851 was also present. Lathif sold 15 tickets to his friends keeping the other tickets in hand. Among the remaining tickets which were on hold be Lathif is said to contain the first prize winning No. UV 425851.

Sathish Mohan a resident of Neeleshwaram who sold the first prize winning tickets had been running the Uthram Lucky Centre for the past 8 years. There are also reports that the second prize winning number IR. 339602 were sold at Changanaserry.

It was reported that Lathif was not at house when the neighbours went to see the lucky person. On the day as the results got announced Lathif kept the secret untold to any one. But he asked the hotel owner to come with him to the bank on Monday. Now Lathif would be the most luckiest person having a bright smile of his face.
