Kerala State lottery department introduces the new Karunya Lottery tickets which is having draw on every Thursday. The lottery comes under 5 series such as AA, AB, AC, AD, and AE. A grand prize of Rs 1 crore is given to as First Prize. The second prize will be given to 4 winners as consolation prize. There are also more prizes such as 1 Lakh, 10,000, 5, 000, 1,000, 500, 100 etc. The draw of this lottery will be conducted under a code KR. ie. KR1, KR2 etc.
The Karunya Lottery draw is conducted to raise funds for providing money for the treatment of cancer, heart and kidney patients. The ticket price of this lottery is Rs 50. The first draw of Karunaya Lottery will be on 24th September 2011.
