What is Rat Fever?
Rat fever is an infection on blood vessels due to bacteria called leptospira. The scientific name of Rat fever is known as leptospirosis. Symptoms:-
After 6-8 days, the bacteria entered in to a human body, the systems start to seen. The symptoms are high fever with shivering, vomiting, chest pain and slightly red colored urine after 8-9 days the temperature gradually decreased and the patient feels some relax but suddenly the situation will change, in second stage the symptoms are completely different from first stage. The patient have sever head ache, high fever, sever muscle pain and red colored eyes, the muscle pain mainly seen in upper leg muscles and stomach muscles. The headache starts from the back side of the head and is gradually spreading to forehead and other parts of the body like neck, upper arms and stomach.How to prevent Rat fever?
1. We should keep our surroundings hygienic
2. Eliminate rats from surroundings and don't touch them with unprotected hands
3. Cover all cuts or wounds on your body with waterproof plasters and wear protective clothing
4. Avoid immersion in natural waters which may contains the feces and urine of rats,
5. Wear foot wear
6. Shower after contact with domestic animal, animal are the carrier of these bacteria which can be enters in to human body from domestic animals easily.
