Age limits for the admission to class VI:-
Boys having age between ten and eleven(Born not before 02 Jul 2001 and not after 01 Jul 2002).
Age limits for the admission to class IX:-
Boys having age between thirteen and fourteen (Born not before 02 Jul 1998 and not after 01 Jul 1999 and should be studying in class VIII in a recognized school.
The written test will be held on the 8th January 2012.
Syllabus of Entrance Examination
Class VI:
The test can be taken in English or Hindi or Malayalam.
Class IX:
The test can be taken in English or Hindi or Malayalam for class VI. The question papers for class IX will be in English only.
Interview and Medical Test : The boys who qualify in the written test will be required to appear at a later date before the Selection Board for an Interview and Medical Test .Further details will be announced later.Centers of Written Test and Interviews
Written test will be at:-
i. All Sainik Schools in India
ii. In Kerala State, Candidates can take the test at any of the following centers provided at least 20 candidates appear from that centre: - Kazhakoottam Sainik School, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Kozhikode, Kavarathi (Lakshadeep).
