One of the much awaited films of the year 'Ezham Arivu' is getting released in Kerala today. The film born out of the Surya- Murgadoss pair is made with a budget of about 85 crore Rs. Surya has done very much hard work for the film. Shruti Hassan, daughter of Kamal Hassan, is the female lead of the film. The film had created a few records on its Kerala release rights. The theatrical rights of Ezham Arivu have been bought for a record price of Rs 2.50 crores by Divya Films. It is the highest price for any of Surya's film ever.
The Tamil movie will hit more than 75 screens in Kerala alone. Surya's earlier film Singham was bought for Rs 75 lakhs and the movie went on to collect close to Rs 2 crores. The overwhelming success of recent Surya movies Ghajini, Vaaranam Aayiram, Ayan and Singham has created a huge fan following for the actor.
