Anoop Menon is certainly having a good time. He was once the Superstar of mini screen. Eventhough, he had made his film debut years ago, it was recently he got the opportunities to prove himself. Now for the first time he is turning hero in a mono star movie, with Mullassery Madhavankutty Nemom P.O, which is directed by Kumar Nanda. Anoop has been having a good run with the success of Thirakkatha, Cocktail, Traffic and more. These all were multistar film to say. Now, he has a few films to credit as an independent hero. The director Kumar Nanda, debuted with a forgettable film 'Kuttibhootham', is also preparing to make strides with his new flick.

Madhavan Kutty is a middle class government employee, who dreams to be a well known personality and to have fame. He was a aspirant and talented person but had to leave his dreams in the middleway. With a loving wife, Seetha, he was living a peaceful ordinary life. Though, Seetha understood him and supported him in all his activities. They also had lovely daughter named Thumpi. But some dark clouds enter into their life and change its rhythm. Some untold lies get revealed. The incidents happening in the life of Madhavankutty then form the rest of the movie. Director hints that Madhavan Kutty lies for the sake of his family, not just for him, thereby giving a humane touch to the hero. Anoop Menon dons the role of Madhavan Kutty. The role of Seetha is played by former Miss Kerala Runner Up Sonal Devraj.
The film has an ensemble cast including Innocent, Bala, Nishant Sagar, Mamukoya, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Janardhanan, Esther Anil, Kalpana and KPAC Lalitha. The film features a song penned by late Girish Puthencheri and composed by late Ravindran master. The song, 'Paathi Maayum Chandrika..', voiced by Yesudas has been included in the movie as a homage to the two departed legends. Apart from this song, there are a few other songs written by Anil Panachooran and tuned by Ratheesh Vega, who gained fame through the songs of 'Cocktail'.
The movie is produced by Sam Varghese and KS Chandran under the banner of Karthik Vision. It's expected to hit the screens by the end of October.
