The Nokia Asha 303 is the flagship brand of Nokia. It is to be launched in Kerala soon. It is a 'Touch & Type' phone powered by Nokia Series 40 operating system. The phone was announced at Nokia World 2011 in London along with three others phones in the Asha series namely Asha 200, 201 and 300 on 26th October. The Asha 303 phone measures 55.7 *116.5 *13.9 mm. It weighs about 97 grams. It has a 2.6 inch transmissive LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 320 × 240 pixel. The screen is taller than wider as portrait model. The phone can display upto 262000 colours. It has 4 row keyboard with availability of regional variants like QWERTY or AZERTY. The phone features a 3.2 MP back camera with an extended depth of field feature. The camera has got no mechanical zoom or flash. It has a 4× digital zoom for both video and camera. The camera has a 50 cm to infinity focus range. It is capable of video recording at up to 640 x 480 px.

But the phone lacks the Broadcom GPU as it is not supported by the Nokia Series 40 operating system.The phone has low power single channel RAM of 128 MB. It has got 100 MB of internal memory. It also has a hot swappable micro SDHC card socket, by which the memory can be expanded upto 32 GB.
