The AIADMK (All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) leader advised to the Kerala people that not to pay attention to the mechanization of Ill-wishers and dishonest mischief mongers. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha request to the peoples of Kerala that, not engaged in acts of these senseless violence about this imaginary issues and also Jayalalitha repeatedly says in the letter that the argument 'Mullaperiyar Dam is unsafe and might fall down at any moment' is wrong, it was just an imaginary issue and do not panic people, this argument of the Jayalalitha is giving more fear to the Kerala people.

According to the latest news on December 7th 2011 Wednesday, the LDF state committee had decided to make a human wall on 8th December 2011, extending from Mullaperiyar to Kochi, to compress for the demand of Kerala for a new dam at Mullaperiyar. The LDF state committee had requested all the sections and groups in society to join their hands to raise their advice together for a new dam. The peoples of Kerala need the confirmation about the safety of their life. The Tamil Nadu Government says to Kerala that do not need to panic in Mullaperiyar safety, they do not bothering about the tension of Keralites in this Mullaperiyar issues.
The LDF committee has decided to make human wall on December 9th 2011, the human wall starts to form at 4pm, and the LDF committee had requested various parties and other organizations to attend and expand this human wall. Only the aim of this human wall is for a new Dam at Mullaperiyar instead of 116- year- old dam. The LDF convener Vaikom Viswan said that, at the same time workers and unions of other districts will arrange meetings at district headquarters and the formed human wall will pass through three districts like Kottayam, Idukki, and Ernakulam
