After the much acclaimed and award winning movie 'Veettilekkulla Vazhi', Dr. Biju is again coming with a socially relevant subject. The movie has already drawn attention with its title 'Aakashathinte Niram' (The Colour of Sky) and the beautifully designed posters. As Veettilekkulla Vazhi, this film also witnesses the teaming up of the super brothers in Mollywood, Indrajith and Prithviraj. If it was Prithvi the hero in Veettilekkulla Vazhi, this time it is Indrajith. Dr. Biju is on the journey with the social treatments he started with award winning 'Saira' starring Navya Nair. Aakashathinte Niram is the first Malayalam movie to be comepletely shot in the Andamans especially Neil Island. The story is progressing in Neil Island. There are four persons living here. They have been residing for long in the island. One day, a stranger reaches the place and he gets quite amazed to see the lifestyle of them. Soon he becomes a member of them and understands the difficulties faced by these poor people. Getting concerned of this he determines to fight for them and that forms the rest of the story. Indrajith portrays the role of the intruding person. Amala Paul is the heroine of the film. Prithviraj also comes in an important role. The most unique feature of the film is that no character has got any name.
The people residing in the island are portrayed by Nedumudi Venu, Amala Paul, Anoop Chandran and master Govardhan. Other cast includes Sreeraman, Githa Salam, Indrans, CJ Kuttappan with others.
The story and screenplay of the movie is penned by the director himself. The film's shooting has been completed and post production works are progressing. Aakashathinte Niram is expected to hit the theatres in end of December.
