Movie Critical Review
Venicile Vyapari by Shafi is a purely different from the three movies earlier directed by him. If you are looking for a pure entertainer, sorry this movie doesn't come under the genre of comedy. The director who has given pure entertainers like Thommanum Makkalum and Mayavi has completely failed to satisfy the audience. Mammootty tries to justify his role with coming up in different costumes and get ups. The comic scenes created are not much to tickle the audience. The back ground music of the movie has a mesmeric touch. Many of the characters on the movie had just been created to build up the flow of the story. The remix song 'Kannum Kannum' which had its shooting in locations of Ootty feels good on big screen.
In short two big movies 'Arabiyum Ottakavum' and 'Venicile Vyapari' failed to impress the audience, even acceptable for the huge fag groups. You can watch Venicile Vyapari as pass time stuff.
