Actress Dhanya Mary Varghese and John to get married on January 9

Gorgeous Malayalam actress Dhanya Mary Varghese is getting married to dancer and actor John on 9th January. The wedding will be at MM Church, Thiruvananthapuram. A grand reception for the relatives and friends has been arranged after the marriage at Sreemulam Club. Earlier, the couple got engaged on 14th November at Koothattukulam Convention centre.

Dhanya started her career as a model. She worked in many television advertisements. She was introduced to cinema as a junior artist. She made her debut in a major role in cinema through the Tamil movie 'Thirudi'. The film was a moderate success. She entered into Malayalam film industry through 'Nanma' by Sarath Chandran Wayanad but it did not recieve much attention. It was the character role in 'Thalappavu' directed by actor Madhupal which brought her recognition as an artist. She acted along with Lal and Prithviraj in Thalappavu. Since she found her feet in cinema with the movies Vairam, Red Chillies, Dhrona 2010, Karayilekkoru Kadaldooram, Nayakan, Pranayam and others. Dhanya is also a trained dancer and live performer.

John hails from Thiruvanthapuram. He is an MBA graduate and currently running a production company. He is also a well acclaimed and popular dancer. He was the winner of reality show named 'Tharolsavam' broadcasted by Kairali channel. He has also acted in television serials and a number of films including Tournament and Chekavar.

Dhanya is reported to have said that she is yet to take any decision on the career in future. After marriage, priority will be for the family, she said.
