Bakthi Prasthanam malayalam movie - Kunchacko Boban as hero

Bakthi Prasthanam is the new Malayalam movie which is to be directed by Babu Janardhanan. In fact Babu Janardhanan had earlier directed the Mamootty starrer Bombay March 12 which was critically well acclaimed by the critics. The film will be produced by Salim.

Babu Janardhanan in Bombay March 12 dealt with the issue of the troubles a Muslim will have to face considering the threat of terrorism that is looming at large among us. The story in Bombay March 12 was a wonderful concept where Mammotty superbly portrayed the character with different shades with ease. Unni Mukundan too played an important character in the movie.

The film was not well received at the box office as everyone considered this movie to be an offbeat film. Once the movie became more available through various forms, the approvals started coming in from all the corners and the movie ended in2011 as one of the best 10 Malayalam films in 2011. Now after this film Babu Janardhanan's new film has been titled as Bakthi Prasthanam. It will have Kunchacko Boban in the title role. It is reported that Suraj Venjaramoodu will play a double role in the film that too of the son and father. The son character will appear as the brother of the character played by kunchacko Boban.

Bakthi Prasthanam is a movie that is also based on the certain religious movements that is held in kerala. Babu Janardhanan the scenarist turned director is well known in the concept of religion as it appears to be his favorite theme. Bakthi Prasthanam will be Babu Janardhanan's second movie as a director will be very important that the film succeed at the box office to sustain his tag as a valuable director.

The lyrics for the fil has been penned by Vayalar Sararth Chandra Verma and the music has been done by Afsal Yousuf.The shooting of the film will begin by the end of march 2012.
