Ettekaal Second is an upcoming Malayalam movie directed by Kanakaraghavan. The film is based on a love story. Padmasurya and Gimi play the lead roles in this love story. Other faces are Suraj Venjarammood, Madhu, Janardanan, Urmila Unni, Vijayaraghavan and Kollam Thulasi. The lyrics of the movie is written by Rafeek Ahamed and composed by Santhosh Colin. Indian playback singer K.S Chithra and Karthik were lent their voice to the lyrics.

In malayalam film industry it will be the first time making entire shots in a movie song underwater. The film has created a history of sorts by filming the love song 'Kaatharamaam Mizzhi' under water. This under water song scene will be a wondering experience to the viewers. The under water shoot was directed by Vinod Vijay, who has been a post production director with Cloud Nine Entertainment. They were used top-quality equipments for this underwater photography.

The film makers of this movie have approached the Limca Book of Records and the Diving Almanac Book of Records in Canada. They hope to claim the world record for this movie and make a box-office hit in malayalam film industry.

The film has completed its first shoot and resume shooting in the middle of April, 2012. Doing of everything including directing, prompting and lipping underwater needs more efforts. But a group of people has made this fantasy come true. The entire process of the underwater shots was conducted in consultation with experts at the Annenberg Center in Loss Angels.
