Mohanlal and Joshiy team up for new movie Run Baby Run

Ace director Joshiy and Superstar Mohanlal are teaming up for another film. The flick is titled Run Baby Run. The duo last worked together in the multi starrer Christian Brothers which bagged mixed responses despite the boxoffice success. Joshiy's last filck was Sevenes starring a group of youngsters which slipped away in the box office. Grandmaster by B Unnikrishnan was the latest release of Mohanlal and it was a success. Since the Lal-Joshiy team has gifted the audience many unforgettable films, the expectations are a little high. As the name indicates, the movie is set to be a complete entertainer.

New sensation Amala Paul is the female lead of the movie. Amala is pairing up with a Malayalam superstar for the first time. This is her second Malayalam film, after Aakashathinte Niram, as well. Other established actors like Biju Menon and Sai Kumar are also the part of the ensemble cast. Mohanlal is portraying a cameraman of a television channel in the movie. Amala Paul plays the senior editor of the channel. The relationship between them and an assignment form the story. The movie will have more importance to comedy unlike other Joshiy flicks.

The screenplay is penned by Sachi of the famous Sachi-Sethu duo. Ratheesh Vega composes the music for the lyrics by Rafeeq Ahmed. As a highlighting feature, Mohanlal sings a song in the movie too. It is a folk number.

Run Baby Run is produced by Milan Jaleel in the banner of Galaxy Films. The shooting is on progress and the film is expected as an Onam release.
