Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued notification for the recruitment of 6,829 uprising vacancies in various categories. There are 329 vacancies to be filled in Thiruvananthapuram RRB. Candidates who wish to apply for the posts should have to fill up a prescribed form on or before 11th June 2012. Candidates between the ages of 18-33 can apply for the post while age relaxation is extended according to the rules. Education qualification details are given in the advertisement. Candidates can apply for the post paying Rs.60 by Money order or Demand Draft in favour of "Assistant Secretary or Secretary or Member Secretary or Chairman of Railway Recruitment Board which is payable at the place where the Railway Recruitment Board concerned is situated.
Candidates who belong to SC/ST/PWD/EXSM/Women/Minorities/ Economically Backward Classes are exempted from fee payment. Candidates are selected through the performance in a written test which will be followed by certificate verification.
Application can be send in a prescribed application form which is available along with the notification. Application form should be filled up by the candidate in own handwriting with blue or black point pen only. It should be send to the regional railway board along with copies of required certificates, documents. A passport size photograph with signature should be accompanied in a closed envelop. It should be mentioned on the cover 'Application for the Post/s of, Category No./,Centralized Employment Notice No. 03/2012 of RRB/—, Community (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-SM)' to the address of concerned RRB. The applications form should reach on or before 11th June 2012. The date of conducting the exam will be 28th October 2012.
