After Shikkar his next film Thiruvambadi Thamban staring family Hero Jayaram is released on theaters in Kerala. The film was produced by Alexander John under the banner of Jini Cinema. As our expectation the film is allover a good one. The collection report from various theaters says that the film will be one of the best entertainers in 2012. The excellent performance of Jayaram was really appreciable and he again proved that he can do action characters in Malayalam industry.

Story of the movie
The film tells a story of a Christian royal family in Thrissur known as Thiruvambadi alangat malikkakar. They were settled at Thrissur years ago from Travancore with the permission of Shakthan Thampuran with an aim to increase the trades in Thrissur. The family had speciallity as they love elephants very much. The Jagathi sreekumar played the role of Thiruvambadi Mathan tharakan and Jayaram Played the role of Thiruvambadi thamban son of Mathan tharakan. This family is the famous for elephant contracts in south India. In each year they were participated in an elephant fair at sonpur which is the largest elephant fair in the Asia. The Sonpur is located in the banks of river Ganga. As usual, they were gone for the elephant fair in that year also for bringing elephants to Uthramkara temple Pooram. But while return back to Thrissur, they come across some incidence at Madurai in Tamilnadu and that leads to many problems during their journey. Here they met a cruel politician and Landlord Shakthivael(Kishore). In this film the Nedumudi Venu appears as the Uncle of Jayaram.
The actress Haripriya comes with a character of a village girl. She is quite romantic in this movie w. A nice combination of Jayaram and Haripriya can be seen in Thiruvambadi Thamban. Tamil actor Samudrakani has an important role in this film. In shikkar also he had an important role. Anyway the first half of the movie is average as the script is not so well. But the second half of the film is really nice and this will compensate the comfortless fell in the first half. Altogether the movie is good one. The film doesn't have too many twists. The film will be an entertainer for all type of audience. The important thing is that, our Malayalam movie industry got another heroin Haripriya. She is a Kannada actress. This movie is not just an elephant story as Pattabhishekam or Anachandham. This movie shows the interest and attraction of youngsters towards elephants and Pooram in Kerala.
