Introduction
Karthika Menon born on june 6, 1986 is known by her stage name called Bhavana and she is an Indian film actress. She entered into film industry by doing a debut role in Nammal film which released on 2002 and film was hit in the box offices. This film was directed by Kamal and she won various critical honours and acclaims for her wonderful acting. Within short span of eight years in film industry she made into more than 45 films especially in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films and she has won filmfare award once and won 2 Kerala state film awards.
Early Life
Bhavana was born in Nellangara, Thrissur, Kerala. Her father is G. Balachandran Menon assistant cinematographer and her mother is Pushpa. She is having one brother who lives in Vancouver, Canada. She did her high school graduation at Holy family Girl's high school, Chembukkavu which is near the state zoo, Thrissur. Bhavana describes her life as a person who is hard to handle and in her child life, she dreamt of becoming an good Indian actress. She has told that in her fiver year old child life, she used to imitate actress Amala's scenes from the film Ente Sooryaputhrikku and often acted infront of the mirror. She used to imitate scenes acted by Amala and she often willing to break her arm which Amala did in her film.
Bhavana and Lakshmi Rai are the brand ambassador of Celebrity cricket league and their team is Kerala strikers which is captained by Mohanlal who is one of the owner of the team and vice captain is Indrajit. Career Life
Bhavana acted in the Malayalam film Nammal at the age of 16 with the newcomers like Siddharth, Jishnu and Renuka Menon. Film was big hit in the theatres and after that she got many offers in Malayalam film industry and she has got many honours and special jury award from the Kerala state. When she got break from the films, she was in 11th standard. Already she has acted with many actors and she has also got offers from Tamil and she has worked with famous actors like Ajith Kumar, Madhavan, Jayam Ravi, Bharath and srikanth. From 2008 onwards she was doing glamorous roles. Her first Kannada film released in the year 2010, where she acted with Puneeth Rajkumar in the film Jackie which was really a hit in theatres. As the film was really successful the film was dubbed into Telugu and Malayalam. Her upcoming Bollywood film where she is pairing with Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan.
