London Olympics 2012 is the 30th official modern international Olympics. The great event in sports world had been started on July 27. London Olympics is featuring with participation of 204 nations from worldwide. An estimated number of 10500 participants will be participated in 302 events of 26 sports in this 30th international Olympics of 2012. London Olympics is held on Britain comes up with a motto "Inspire generation". The Olympics village had officially opened by British queen Elizabeth ii and closing ceremony will be on 12 August 2012. Team India has hailed into London with a dream of achieving more than one gold medal in the mega event of 30th international Olympics. India has gained 1 gold and 2 bronze medal in previous Beijing Olympics. In 2012 London Olympics team India has sent 83 number of athlete including 60 men and 23 women. Team India will participate in 54 events of 13 different sports. India which has strong hold in few games wish to get medals in categories like shooting, archery, boxing, badminton and Tennis. Saina Nehwal, Deepika Kumari, Vijender Singh, Abhinav Bindra etc are the major competitors in travel of bringing medal to India from London. P R Sreejesh is one of the players in Indian hockey team of London Olympics. He is born on Eranakulam Kizhakambalam in 1988. He will representing the hockey team as goal keeper in the London Olympics. During his career he has achieved an unique position in Indian hockey team through mesmerizing performance. Sreejesh has worn Indian Jersey at SAF games in 2006, junior Asia cup hockey in 2008, World cup hockey in 2012 etc. One of his best performances is being held on previous year Asian games against Pakistan which makes India champion also make him as national hero. Tintu Luka is one of the major competitors for Olympic medal for Team India. She is the disciple of former popular athlete PT Usha. PT Usha has lost medal in Olympics now tries to achieve the dream through her disciple. Tintu is the national record holder in 800m women race. She has gained a bronze medal in 2010 Asian games. She has represented team India in commonwealth games, Asian games, world championship and now in Olympics. She is internationally standard competitor in 800m women race event. Diju is one of the medal competitors in 2012 London Olympics. He is representing team India for badminton. He will play in badminton Mixed doubles with Jwala Gutta. Diju has hailed from Kozhikkod and now his team is the 12th ranking of World mixed doubles team of badminton. The pair of V Diju and Jwala Gutta has gained many win in International level and hopes to bring at least one medal for nation in London Olympics 2012. After 20 years a Malayalee badminton player has played in Olympics. He has reached in Olympics with lot of hard work. Diju and Jwala Gutta pair is the first Indian mixed doubles pair who enters into world badminton championship quarter final, won grand pix gold title etc. Irfan Kolothum Thodi of Kerala in London Olympics 2012
Irfan Kolothumthodi is an Indian athlete from Kerala in London Olympics 2012. He has qualified in London Olympics in the event of 20 Km walking. Irfan has born in Malappuram and he is the emerging face of Indian athlete team. He has qualified in London Olympics through finishing of walking event of 20 KM in 1 hour 22 minute and 09 seconds at Sarans of Moscow. Renjith Mahehwari is an Olympic competitor from Kerala for India. In London Olympics Ranjith will represent team India in Triple jump event. He is the national record holder in Triple jump and this performance give him bronze medal in 2010 Commonwealth games. He had participated in Commonwealth games, Asian games, World championship and Olympics game. He has qualified for London Olympics by jumping 16.5 m distance in federation cup. He hopes to make a jump of above 17 m to reach a medal in London Olympics for team India. Ranjith has born in Channikad Kottayam district. Mayookha Johny of Kerala in London Olympics 2012
Mayookha Johny is an Indian track and field athlete from Kerala. She has qualified for women triple jump event of London Olympics 2012. Mayookha was born in Kallanod, Kozhikkod district. She is the first Indian women who cross the distance of 14 m In Triple jump event. Her favorite game is long jump unfortunately she misses to qualify for the Olympics in that event. She has known as the real follower of fame Anju Boby George. Mayookha has qualified for London Olympics by jumping of 14.11 m in Asian championship by creating national record.
