Women who have suffered the traditional and religious restrictions for centuries are today showcasing their talent at national level. Muslim women belonging to the Malabar region of Kerala state are distinct from education field since years due to the religious restrictions. But in recent days with the help of changes and latest developments the Muslim women are crossed the religious hurdles and proving themselves by expecting challenges. Most recently the Muslim women from Kerala state have created history by getting seats in All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS entrance examination. In the nationwide examination in which a total of 80,000 candidates have been competed for a total of 72 seats, 27 candidates belonging to Kerala have got seats, 12 of them are Muslim women.
In recent times 70 to 80 percent of women candidates are taking admissions in Kerala's Homeopathy colleges and Kozhikode's Medical College. Muslim Women are showing interest to join in various courses as the numbers of colleges in private sector are increasing rapidly. Yearly 29 thousand students are joining in professional colleges in which Muslim women are most in number. Yearly 18,000 students in engineering, 600 students in medicine and 650 students from dental are passing their courses from the 45 various educational institutes under the management of Muslim trusts. It is an accepted truth that from the Muslim students 80 percent of is women. In 1967 founded Mambad‘s MES college the number of women candidates was 2 but at present the number reached to thousands.
In 26 Muslim trust's run arts and science colleges the representation of women is 72 percent and in medical and dental colleges it reached to 82 percent. Preference is given to women even in Management quota seats. In past it was difficult to find suitable bride for Muslim women but at present due to rapid changes in the field of education the problem has been vanished. Muslim trust represents are feeling happy for Women gaining more opportunities in the field of education in compare with men. In past women have much restriction but at present they are showcasing their talent in education filed and gaining hon-our in society.
Since 5 years Malabar Muslim women are showing their leading in medical education. I the year 2011, out of 50 seats in government Homeo college of Kerala, Muslim women have grabbed 26 seats. Muslim Women are creating sensation in the field of education and trying to rub out the symbol of backward Minorities. The present generation women, in association with their parents are selecting suitable courses for their bright future. Due to the latest developments in the field of education the attitudes of parents are changing. Good family environment and mixing with all people is appearing in Malabar villages. Even educational filed experts are claiming that male domination has outdated in Malabar region. Along with Malabar region Muslim women are moving forward in all parts of the Kerala. In past offering education to Muslim women was a crime but gradually women by facing many hurdles are getting empowerment in present time. Even the Kerala's first Muslim Women forest officer A.Shazna too faced threats from religious leaders during her joining in forest department. But with the co-operation and assistance of her family members she has undergone her job responsibilities perfectly. In past women got hesitations but at present they are gaining hon-our due to the year's long fight. Due to changing trends even Muslim trusts too responding positively towards women. Educated women only perfectly mold the future generation, hence women education is must in all religions.

Now a day all the parents want their children to be educated. Hence now want their children to be educated and stand on their own feet.Previous parents used to give minimum education & get married to some Gulf malayalee.
Now the trend has change.... Now a day decision is also taken by the girls as they know what is right or wrong.
