Pattern of CAT exam 2012
CAT is a computer based test conducted in online. Question paper and model are often changed. But in this time, the model may not have vast difference from the previous year CAT exam. The CAT exam has conducted in two phase. One is quantitative ability and data interpretation and other is verbal ability and logical reasoning. There are 30 questions in each part. There may be total time limit of 140 minute that is 70 minute for each part. Candidate cannot be going back for first part after the completion time of first part. In Kerala CAT exam has been conducting by Kozhikkod IIM. The exam is arranged as to start from October 11 and ends in November 6. The result will be published in January 9. Candidates have the priority to apply for CAT exam 2012 up to September 19. You have two sessions available; one is morning while other is afternoon session. Before registering in CAT exam 2012, candidate should have buy CAT voucher from listed AXIS bank branches in the website from 30 July to 17 September 2012. The fee for the examination is RS 1600 for general and Rs 800 for SC ST category. Candidates are required to fulfill Pay in slip at the selected bank branches to obtain voucher.
