The Manthrikan malayalam movie will release during Onam season 2012. Actor Jayaram starred in this movie with gorgeous actress Poonam Bajwa. Most of the scenes of this movie are picturized in the beautiful Kerala state. Rajan Kiriyath wrote the script while the movie is directed by Anil Kumar. Malayalam super star Mohanlal's film Run Baby Run is also going to be released during Onam. Jayaram appears as Mukundanunni while Poonam comee in as Malu in Manthrikan. Mukundanunni's father is a great magician. But Makudanunni doesnot feel interest to engage in his father's profession as his aim was to obtain land and do farming. Since he does not have enough money with him, he acquires the land for lease and start sowing the seeds. Ramesh Pisharody and Kalabhavan Shajon will appear as close friends of Jayaram as Subramaniyan and Shekharankutty respectively.
Malu who comes to Mukundanunni village joins his friend's gang. Friendship of Poonam and Jayaram will slowly gets converted into love. As usual, duet songs will appear during the love scenes. Suddenly one day, a kidnapping gang will abduct Poonam. The owner of the house wants Jayaram to catch a witch using his magic talent and in turn to release Poonam. This is the deal between them. Can Mukundanunni catch the witch again? What are the tricks that he uses to control the tricks of Witch? Who is that Witch? Answers for these questions will be on screen.
